Α.Σ.ΑΘ, in the sports season 2021-2022, proceeded to the creation of a indoor football department.
In order to cover the coaching needs of the newly formed department, it has reached an agreement with the coaching team of the Asteras Alimos Sports Club.
The philosophy and purpose of the football academy of the team, is the love for football and sports in general, the proper physical, mental, spiritual and social culture of children, the fun through training and games.
The small sections in the number of children, create the conditions for proper and flexible training, offering the young athletes, and depending on the age, everything they need to improve them.
At the same time, participating in various tournaments, gives children the opportunity to enjoy the game, having enough time to participate, to try together with their teammates for the common goal that is fun, cooperation, effort, improvement.
The trainings take place at the soccer field on Lofo Pani, in a safe and pleasant environment.
The sports material of the team is rich, enabling the coaches to apply all the modern training methods.

The head of the Academy is Petros Triantopoulos, a football coach with rich experience, and a Physical Education teacher in Primary Education.
